Core Elements of Our Procurement Management
Green IT encompasses not only the aspect of providing environmentally friendly computer systems and components but also the implementation and execution of a sustainable procurement process.
As one of the 4 core elements of our sustainability strategy, ROSCH Computer relies on responsible procurement management that incorporates both ecological aspects and criteria for social and ethical responsibility.
Our Supplier Code of Conduct aims to ensure that requirements regarding environmental aspects, labor laws, and business ethics are upheld throughout the value chain and supply process.
Already 80% of our suppliers are certified according to the ISO 14001:2015 standard for their environmental management systems.
All our suppliers meet the requirements of the RoHS 3 Directive 2015/863 (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) and the REACH Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006 (Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals) in the production of their products.
All our suppliers are certified according to the ISO 9001:2015 standard for their comprehensive quality management system.
Only together with our suppliers can we provide ecologically and socially responsible hardware solutions. Therefore, we include all vendors in our CSR commitments.
Our supplier management also annually assesses the validity of existing environmental and quality management certifications, raises awareness among suppliers regarding our CSR standards, and ensures the continued validity of the self-disclosure and code of conduct confirmation.
