Kontron K3831-H Thin mITX with Intel® H610 chipset and Intel® Core™ processors of the 12th and 13th generation

Kontron, Ismaning, 29.06.2023 - Kontron, a global leader in IoT/Embedded Computing Technology (ECT), introduces the K3831-H Thin mITX motherboard, a newly developed product – Made in Germany. The K3831-H offers top performance and functionality in a small and ultra-flat form factor, supporting Intel® Core™ i3/i5/i7/i9 processors of the 12th and 13th generations.

Despite limited space and height constraints, the K3831-H Thin mITX motherboard provides extensive connectivity options, including HDMI V2.0b, Display Port V1.4a, Dual Channel LVDS, Dual GbE LAN, and 9x USB (2.0, 3.2 Gen1, and 3.2 Gen2). It is ideal for slim system solutions in applications such as all-in-one and tiny box PCs, KIOSK systems, and Digital Signage.

The Thin mITX motherboard leverages the latest DDR5 memory technology (up to 64 GB) for maximum system performance. Intel® UHD Graphics 7xx with Xe architecture support DPP, HDMI, and LVDS, enabling impressive visual output. The K3831-H provides an extended lifecycle of up to 5 years for long-term support and availability.

With onboard support for M.2 SSD (PCIe x4 Gen 4 based M.2 2230/2242) and M.2 Wi-Fi/Bluetooth (M.2 2230), users benefit from the advantages of these modern storage and communication technologies. The motherboard is equipped with Intel® Gbe LAN and Realtek Gbe LAN for reliable network connections. The integrated TPM V2.0 function from Intel® ensures enhanced security.

The K3831-H replaces the successful D3674-B Thin mITX Motherboard with Intel® Core™ i9/i7/i5/3rd generation from the 8th/9th generation. The new board is manufactured in Germany and offers an attractive price-performance ratio for cost-effective solutions.

First samples will be available from September 2023.
