Kontron introduces the K9051-C741 ATX

Kontron, Ismaning, 12.09.2024 - Kontron, a worldwide leader in IoT/Embedded Computer Technology (ECT), introduces the K9051-C741, an ATX server-class motherboard designed for scalable Intel® Xeon® processors of the 4th and 5th generations. Equipped with the Intel® C741 chipset and support for Intel® LGA 4677 socket processors, offering up to 350W TDP and up to 768 GB memory, the motherboard is also suitable for demanding AI applications.

The K9051-C741 ATX supports processors with up to 64 cores and eight memory channels, making it ideal for memory-intensive continuous operation applications. With its high expandability and integrated Dual LAN Intel® X710 10 GbE with teaming function, it sets new standards for demanding network applications in medical technology, data centers, and high-performance computing.

The system is suitable for areas such as industry, imaging, medical technology, AI, and robotics, addressing the growing demand for compute platforms with high core counts and high memory throughput. Intel® Xeon® processors of the 5th generation, equipped with AI accelerators like Intel® AMX, offer optimized performance for deep learning applications.

The Kontron K9051-C741 supports DDR5 memory with speeds up to 5600 MT/s RDIMM and capacities up to 768 GB. Five PCIe Gen 5 expansion slots allow for future upgrades, while advanced thermal management and the integration of OpenBMC ensure efficient administration and maintenance.

After its launch in North America, the motherboard is now also available in the EMEA region.
