Kontron präsentiert K4131-Px mITX Industrial Motherboard mit AMD Ryzen™ AI Embedded P100 Prozessoren

Kontron, Augsburg, 03.02.2026 - Kontron, a globally leading provider of IoT/Embedded Computer Technology (ECT), introduces K4131-Px, a high-performance mITX industrial motherboard based on the new AMD Ryzen™ AI Embedded P100 Processor Series. The board was specifically developed for demanding industrial edge and AI applications, combining high computing power, excellent graphics performance, and cutting-edge AI acceleration in a compact form factor.

Thanks to the AMD Ryzen™ AI Embedded P100 processors, the K4131-Px offers outstanding graphics and AI performance, making it ideal for visual data processing, machine vision, edge AI, automation, and smart industrial systems. The integrated AI engine enables efficient inference directly at the edge, reducing latencies and minimizing the need for cloud resources.

The K4131-Px is “Designed in Germany” and stands for the highest development quality, long-term availability, and industrial reliability – key requirements for professional embedded solutions.

A distinctive feature of the board is its high flexibility in system integration. It supports up to four DisplayPort outputs, as well as LVDS and embedded DisplayPort (eDP), making it ideal for multi-display and HMI applications. For storage and expansion needs, it provides up to four M.2 slots, which can be used for fast storage, multi-purpose extensions, wireless solutions, or 5G connectivity.

Additionally, the K4131-Px features further industrial interfaces, including up to four COM ports for easy connection of legacy and field devices. The wide-range power input from 9 to 34 V ensures stable operation even in demanding industrial environments with varying supply voltages.

A new SMARTCASE™ S740 will be available for the new K4131-Px motherboard. It offers an optimized enclosure solution for industrial applications and enables quick system integration.
