ORing Launches Industrial TSN Managed Switch to Build Next-Generation Industrial Real-Time Communication Infrastructure

ORing, Taiwan, 04.05.2026 - ORing Industrial Networking, a leading provider of industrial networking solutions, has launched a new industrial-grade managed Ethernet switch that integrates Time-Sensitive Networking (TSN) technology with a highly reliable redundancy architecture. The solution helps enterprises build industrial Ethernet networks with real-time communication capabilities for mission-critical applications such as smart manufacturing, intelligent transportation, medical systems, and smart cities.


As Industry 4.0 and the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) continue to advance, the volume of data generated by factory equipment, sensors, and control systems has grown rapidly. Traditional Ethernet follows a “first-come, first-served” transmission model, making it difficult to ensure that time-critical data arrives within precise time intervals. Through a series of IEEE 802.1 standards, TSN enables deterministic communication on standard Ethernet, ensuring that data can be transmitted within specified latency limits and that critical control signals arrive on time.


The IGS-T9062DGP switch supports multiple core TSN technologies, including IEEE 802.1AS time synchronization, 802.1Qbv Time-Aware Shaper, 802.1Qbu frame preemption, and 802.3br Ethernet enhancement mechanisms. These technologies provide the microsecond-level determinism, ultra-low latency, low jitter, and real-time data transmission required for industrial control and factory automation applications.


In addition, TSN technology enhances network reliability and resource management capabilities. Through traffic scheduling and priority management mechanisms, critical control data can be delivered to designated devices at the correct time, preventing delays or packet loss caused by network congestion and ensuring the stable operation of industrial control systems.


The IGS-T9062DGP provides six Gigabit copper ports and two 2.5 Gigabit SFP uplink ports, supporting high-speed data aggregation and flexible network deployment. With its high-speed uplink design, the switch improves data transmission efficiency across industrial backbone networks and meets the high-bandwidth and high-efficiency communication requirements of smart factories and large-scale industrial systems.


The IGS-T9062DGP supports advanced Layer 2 management functions such as QoS, VLAN, IGMP Snooping, ACL, and SNMP, along with industrial communication and network management features including RMON and Modbus TCP. It also supports CC-Link IE TSN, enabling seamless integration with various industrial control systems and automation equipment.


To ensure continuous network operation for critical industrial systems, the IGS-T9062DGP supports multiple high-reliability redundancy technologies, including O-Ring, O-Chain, ITU-T G.8032 ERPS, MRP, and RSTP/MSTP. These technologies enable recovery times of under 30 milliseconds in network environments with more than 250 devices, significantly reducing the risk of network interruptions and ensuring the stable operation of production equipment and control systems.


The IGS-T9062DGP features an industrial-grade DIN-rail design and complies with IEC60068 environmental testing standards. With a wide operating temperature range from -40°C to 75°C, the switch can operate reliably in harsh industrial environments and provide highly dependable network support for critical infrastructure.
